Riding Lessons

Individual lessons begin in the spring and run through the fall, with your horse or ours.
Minimum of 4 weeks of lessons, paid & scheduled in advanced.


Course 1
Western - beginner having little or no experience  
  Lessons include arena riding, grooming, and tacking up. $25.00 per hour

Course 2
Western - Intermediate after Course 1 or if deemed ready by instructor.  
  Lessons include trail riding, hoof care, & advanced grooming. $25.00 per hour

Course 3
Western - Advanced  
  Show skills and preparations - by special arrangement only. $50.00 per hour

Lease horses are available for $175 per month

Hay Rides

Tour the farm! See the horses, sheep and the surrounding countryside, including woods and pastures by a tractor drawn hay wagon. See White-tail deer, Wild Turkey, Red & Gray fox, Possums, Red tail hawks, and an occasional Bald Eagle.* Wagon holds 12 people comfortably. More than 1 trip or 24 people can be arranged. We give a discount for a second wagon.

The wagon ride begins at the parking lot and lasts approximately 1 hour, night or day. At the end, a campfire is waiting at our wooded campsite. So bring your hot dogs and put them on a stick, hold them in a fire and have some fun ! All riders are returned to their cars by hay wagon afterwards.
Day hay rides include use of horseshoe pits and volleyball court at the campsite.

Price $100. per wagon or $8.34 /person

Full Payment required at time of scheduling, in case of rain cancellation, credit for a future ride at a mutually agreed upon date will be given.

*seeing wild animals is not guaranteed
